In last week’s update I shared some of the external things that had changed over the last several weeks that have prompted a re-thinking or re-focusing or right-focusing of our campus (go to our website for the update if you missed it—www.faceofgrace.org). At the end I mentioned the gnawing sense I had that the campus we were designing was going to ultimately make for a great, but busy and overly complex mission. |

Hey, Grace’rs,
Few things energize and/or de-energize a congregation more than
building projects. In more than 24 years of ministry I’ve had the
chance to talk with several pastors over the years who have been
involved in building projects. I’ve learned that some projects rally
the congregation. Others tear apart congregations. |
