Jan and I are looking forward to being back with you this weekend. This Sunday (at least at the time I'm writing this!) I'm going to preach perhaps the most inspiring, challenging, frustrating, hope-filled message of my career. And I can say that because I'm not writing it. I'm going to be summarizing a book that is stretching me in terms of mission, and that will launch a new Kingdom Assignment for the Lenten season. (A Kingdom Assignment is a project we can all participate in during the 40 days of Lent to help make a difference in the lives of others.) (On the other hand, if I find that I can't make the book come alive, we'll do Tough Questions and I'll recommend the book to you! So Sunday will be a surprise of sorts, for all of us. :) Families with the last names beginning with L-R have the food table this weekend.

We had a huge start to our compelling Wednesdays. Over 50 women focusing on the Heart of Compelling Womanhood! Over 30 men looking at the faces of Compelling Manhood. There's still room for you, your friends, and kids!

The Easter Season Begins: Wednesday, Feb. 22, 6:30 pm
Ash Wednesday is the official start to the Easter Season--a season of preparation called, Lent. We'll take a break from our Compelling classes and meet in the worship center for a family-friendly Ash Wednesday Service, including a service of ashes.
Man-Cave Special Edition
For men and their significant others--Sunday, Feb. 26, 4-6 pm at Grace

Life Vision Statements
I've created a variety of Life Vision statements to help you begin to internalize what it means to follow Jesus. On our website at www.faceofgrace.org we have a Compelling Vision for Men, for Women, for Dads, and for Moms. I encourage you to download the vision that speaks to you and either read it through 3-4 times a day for a month or listen to it 3-4 times a day for a month. It will empower you to be the compelling follower of Jesus he calls you to be.
